NETANYAHU, GREECE AGREE ON SECURITY AND TOURISM COOPERATION: Greece and Israel deepened ties in the fields of tourism and security Tuesday with the first visit to Athens by an Israeli Prime Minister.  "In addition to issues of economic cooperation and prosperity for the two countries, like tourism, we also discussed issues of defense cooperation and security,” said PM Netanyahu.  His host, PM George Papandreou who visited Israel last month, told Netanyahu, "We can deepen and broaden our relations with Israel in commercial relations, large investments and tourism as well as security. We are in the same neighborhood and Greece has a vital interest in a two-party solution for Israel and the Palestinians, and we want to contribute to the economy and safety of the region.” (INN)

PM IN GREECE, SAYS PLAN FOR DIRECT TALKS : Israel’s PM Netanyahu this week updated the Greek prime minister of the steps he plans on making in order to jump-start the peace process. "We set a work plan for promoting direct talks. I hope they start soon," said Netanyahu. "We are prepared to go to Cairo, Washington, anywhere in order to start the process," said the prime minister. The meeting between Netanyahu and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou lasted about two hours. The prime minister's entourage deemed the meeting as warm and very good.  Israel seeks to strengthen ties with Greece, and even form an alliance with Athens on the backdrop of weakened ties with Turkey.  "I know that many Israeli tourists will come to Greece. It is a challenging, interesting, and beautiful country," said Netanyahu on the issue of significantly decreased Israeli tourism to Turkey.  Netanyahu will soon meet with leaders of the Greek Jewish community in Israel. (Ynet)  Pray that good fruit will be borne from the visits of world leaders to each others' countries.

BOLTON: ISRAEL HAS A FEW DAYS LEFT TO ATTACK IRANIAN REACTOR: Israel has only a few days left to attack the new Bushar nuclear reactor to prevent its operation, said former US Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton.  He said once the reactor, built by Russia, will begin working this week, it will be too late to attack, because there is a danger that the spread of radioactive material will hurt Iranian civilians and the waters of the Persian Gulf.  Bolton made it clear that any Israeli attack on the Bushehr reactor will most likely take place before the reactor is loaded with fuel rods. (INN)  Ahmadinejad believes he has been called by his 'god' to reveal the 12th Imam who will establish Islamic global control after a catastrophic war from which Persia apparently emerges victorious. Ahmadinejad wants this war to begin soon.

IRAN DETAILS PLANS FOR NEW MOUNTAIN NUKE SITES: Iran said Monday it has decided where to build 10 new uranium enrichment sites inside protected mountain strongholds and will start construction in March, defying international efforts to curb its nuclear program. The UN Security Council has already passed four sets of sanctions against Iran to try and force it to stop enriching uranium. Last year, Iran flouted international concerns by claiming it would build 10 new enrichment plants.  Monday's announcement confirmed the sites had been chosen inside mountains, without revealing any other details. IRAN LAUNCHES HOLOCAUST-DENIAL CARTOON SITE: A new website in Iran depicts the Holocaust as seen through Iranian eyes – cartoons, mockery and denial claims. The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) reports that the extensive website, holocartoons.com, is in the form of a comic book in three languages: Persian, English and Arabic. Claims that the Holocaust never happened or was exaggerated, long familiar on the Iranian scene, are presented in detail, as are allegations that Israel simply used the Holocaust concept to kill Arabs and take over what was then Palestine. (INN) “Do not fear the reproach of man, neither be dismayed at their reviling.”  Is 51:7

AFGHANISTAN OIL DISCOVERY MAY MEAN NEW FUNDS FOR AL-QAEDA: The announcement Sunday by the Afghan government that geologists have discovered a mammoth oil field in northern Afghanistan may also have made the country a richer target for the Al-Qaeda terrorist group. A basin located between the northern provinces of Balkh and Shiberghan could yield up to an estimated 1.8 billion barrels. (Arutz-7)

IAF STRIKES GAZA WEAPONS FACTORY, TUNNELS IN RESPONSE TO TERROR: Israel Air Force fighter pilots destroyed carefully selected terrorist targets in Gaza overnight in retaliation for a spate of terror attacks on Jewish communities in the western Negev, including two mortars fired at Israel from the region earlier in the day, and two Kassam rockets fired Monday. Two IDF soldiers were wounded in Tuesday morning's mortar fire. (Arutz-7)

GILO RESIDENTS PART WITH BARRIER: A decade has passed since the residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo have been under fire on a daily basis. Since then, a concrete barrier was placed to separate between the houses in Gilo and the neighboring town of Beit Jala.  On Sunday Israel Defense Forces began dismantling the barrier. Eighty out of 800 concrete plates were removed. The remaining 720 plates will be disassembled within the coming two weeks. An army spokesman said the cement plates will be relocated to a nearby military base, "So that, if necessary, we can rebuild it.” (Ynet)

100,000 WATER-CONSERVING DEVICES INSTALLED IN ISRAELI HOMES: In the past two weeks, Water Authority contractor Milgam has installed over 100,000 water-conserving devices in over 40,000 homes in central and southern Israel. The device is fitted onto a regular sink or bathtub faucet and conserves approximately one third of the water output of the faucet, without harming the user's experience of water flow. Some 1,800 Milgam workers have been deployed for the purpose of the project, which will last for the next three months. (INN)
